In 2019, I was one of a small group of local CEOs who established Hull’s Learning Partnership, which has brought together around 100 headteachers across all phases with the aim of improving the education of all learners in Hull
Chief Executive of the Sentamu Academy Learning Trust (SALT)
As founder CEO of SALT, in 2014 I led all the strategic negotiations which brought together 5 schools into one Trust, 3 of which had to academise to join.
Established ASPIRE Academy, Hull
In 2013, I wrote the bid for ASPIRE , a 10-16 AP academy. I then led all aspects of the project, which saw ASPIRE open on time and on budget in 2014 as one of the largest of its type in the UK
Led the design of Archbishop Sentamu Academy, Hull
2008 – 11: Oversaw the design of the new building at ASA as Principal of the academy.
2004 – Wrote successful bid for Arts and Enterprise Specialist College status at Campion School, Warwickshire, whilst Headteacher there.
2002 – wrote successful Performing Arts College bid at Langley School, Solihull, whilst Deputy Head there.
1996 – wrote successful for Language College status bid for Arden School, Solihull, whilst Head of Languages there.
